What We Offer
Clinical Pilates is More
Than a Fitness Class
Physiotherapist-led sessions
Clinical Pilates is a specialised form of Pilates prescribed and supervised by qualified physiotherapists. Unlike studio Pilates, it is evidence-based and tailored specifically to your medical history, injuries, and rehabilitation goals.
Every programme begins with a thorough physiotherapy assessment so your therapist understands exactly how your body moves, where the weaknesses are, and what exercises will create the most meaningful change.
Whether you're recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or simply looking to build a stronger, more resilient body — Clinical Pilates gives you the structure and expertise to get there safely.
💡 Did you know? Clinical Pilates has strong evidence for treating lower back pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and improving core stability — often achieving results where other treatments have plateaued.

Your Questions Answered
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No referral is needed. You can book directly with us. We do recommend discussing Clinical Pilates with your GP if you have a complex medical history, but it is not required to get started.
How is it different from regular Pilates?
Clinical Pilates is prescribed and supervised by physiotherapists. Every exercise is selected and modified based on your clinical assessment — it's rehabilitation-grade, not general fitness.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies by individual. Many patients see meaningful improvement within 6–10 sessions. Your physiotherapist will give you a realistic timeframe at your initial assessment.
Is it covered by health insurance?
Many major insurers cover Clinical Pilates when prescribed as part of physiotherapy treatment. We recommend checking with your insurer. We work with BUPA, AXA, Vitality and more.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, form-fitting exercise clothing is ideal. You'll work in socks or bare feet, so no specialist footwear is required. We have changing facilities at all locations.
Can I do it if I'm pregnant?
Absolutely. We offer specialist pre and postnatal Clinical Pilates programmes designed to be safe throughout all stages of pregnancy and post-birth recovery.
